1. When selecting a notification type, choose ‘’Counter’’.

This takes you the next step of the - notification display properties. These are unique to every campaign type.


2. Enter the URL or URLs you want to track. 

This field determines from which webpages Social Oracle collects unique visits data. You can only collect visitor data from the pages which have the Social Oracle script installed. To collect visitor data from multiple URLs, click on ‘’Add field’’ and enter a new URL. 


3. Choose whether to display total currently active visitors or display total monthly unique visitors. 

This toggle determines the total unique visitor's data shown on the page, either currently active visitors or total monthly unique visitors. 


If you choose currently active visitors, then the notification will only be displayed if there are 2 or more active visitors on any of the URLs you chose to collect data on.


    a. To display current unique total visitors, do not toggle the switch on.

    b. To display monthly unique total visitors, toggle the switch on.

4. Add a tracking title. 

This field determines what the visitors are doing on your page and is displayed together with the ‘’visitor’s name’’ field. Tracking titles should always start with non-capital cases.


Make sure you start your tracking title with a suitable verb like ''are'' or ''have''!  



5. Add a name to your visitors.

This field determines what your visitors are called in the message. Visitors can be called whatever you would like - People, Visitors, or Folks! Make sure to capitalize on the name, so it looks uniform.


6. Choose where your notification is shown. 

This field determines where your notification is displayed. You can choose to either enter one or multiple URLs where the notification is displayed or target multiple pages where the URL includes a specific word or query parameter.
